Once we receive your records shipment, we go through 3 stages to complete your document scanning. First, we have to prepare your paper documents for the new paperless office by getting them into proper shape for the document scanning process. Next, we scan the documents utilizing high-speed auto feed scanners and preprogrammed processes to insure quality and clarity. Finally, the documents are organized into indexed order so they can be quickly retrieved once running under the control of your document management system.
To prepare your records, we:
- Remove staples, paper clips and other obstructions
- Repair torn or dog-eared pages
- Attach small, un-scannable notes and bits of paper onto larger, scannable sheets
- Insert separator sheets between "documents" (files with pages grouped in one or more related file folders)
